Our last big hike of the trip was again in the Custer National Forest, near to Red Lodge. This hike was on the Lake Fork Trail (12 miles, 2000' ascent). The trail ran along the south bank of the Lake Fork river.
This hike involved two lakes, the first of which was Lost Lake, where we saw some fishermen and a couple very brave (or foolish) swimmers.
The second lake was Keyser Brown Lake.
