The final part of our trip was the city of York itself. I've always liked this view of the minster from the city walls.
As we wandered around the inside of the Minster, the choir were rehearsing. This meant we couldn't get into that part of the Minster, but the atmosphere was worth it.
The outside boasted plenty of fine gargoyles.
And York has plenty of fine streets and old buildings to enjoy
