FineDetail leisure 22 August 2004 Reactions

Cindy is very conscious of good workmanship in carpentry. She'll notice all sorts of fine details that I'm oblivious of. She particularly appreciates things that don't look like much, but are actually quite tricky to do right.

I noticed such a fine detail this morning, but in software - specifically Apple's iTunes. I was sorting out some tags on my music collection. Part of this was cleaning up my messy tags of Beethoven. As I was doing this I saw that iTunes sorted 'Piano Sonata No.8 in Cm' before 'Piano Sonata No.10 in G'. Someone, somewhere cared enough to make that happen - I appreciate it.
